Is any of this real?
No. Tinfoil is a parody app. Every theory is fictional and generated by AI for entertainment. Every share card is permanently stamped "SATIRE" and the stamp cannot be removed.
How do I generate a theory?
On the Generate tab, pick a target topic and a paranoia level, then tap the button. You'll get three theories. Optionally link a second topic, or tap "Go deeper" on any theory to escalate it into a thread.
I hit the daily limit.
Generations are limited per day to keep the app free to run. The counter resets automatically at local midnight.
How do I share a theory with my own photo?
Open a theory from the History tab, tap "Create share card", then "Attach evidence" to add a photo from your camera or library. The card is built on your device and shared through the normal iOS share sheet.
How do I turn notifications or music off?
Background music has a toggle in the app's Settings. Notifications can be turned off any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Tinfoil.
How do I delete my data?
Saved theories live only on your device — use "Clear history" in the app's Settings, or delete the app, to remove them. For any other request related to data, email us at the address below.
I found a bug or content that seems off.
Please email us with a short description (and a screenshot if you can). Tinfoil only generates harmless, everyday parody — if something slipped through, we want to know.
